Sometimes parts are machined after being built with another manufacturing process. For instance, cast or molded items may have certain details or features machined into them at a later stage.

Q4: What format of data files do you need to quote?
A: All machining processes are based on complete 3D data, Toxmann suggests you to provide 3D data files in STEP, IGES, X_T or STL format for machining analysis and price evaluation. Please provide 2D files in DWG or PDF format if dimensional tolerances are required.
Q5: How to ensure that the client's design is strictly confidential?
